Because our auctions are held from our Dorking Surrey headquarters with bidding by internet and phone only there are two different ways we can sell your railwayana.

Small items

These can be posted to us, delivered to one of the main auctions where we are always in attendance, or delivered to Dorking by arrangement. If you have a collection to sell then we are prepared to collect from most parts of the country but we cannot do this for one or two items unless they are high value (such as nameplates)

Large items

For items that would be awkward to carry around the Country ( such as a bench or lamppost) we can sell the items in situ with collection by the winning bidder from your address. We would give the town only in the catalogue and then would put the winning bidder in touch with you once payment has been received. We would need a good quality digital picture for the catalogue.

Payment to Vendors

We pay out by cheque two weeks after the end of the auction. Our commission rate is 10% for the first £500 of your total entry, 5% for the next £500 and then just 2.5% above that. We charge £6 for unsold items and items that sell below £50.  Other Specialists auctions charge up to 23.5%!!
