432.          GWR Plymouth Dist. Notice showing arrangements for diversion of through trains to alternative routes in cases of emergency  Jan 1942 – Provision of GWR locos to use SR lines in North Devon/Cornwall. 20 pp.

438.          BR(E) Signalbox Diagram  Stevenage North. Dated 1951. On thick cartridge paper with T.C. cut-outs. In good ex box condition.

439.          BR(S) Western District (Sec K) WTT Freight Trains  14 Jun 1954 u.f.n. Covers the old ex LSWR branches west of Exeter together with marshalling instructions for certain freight trains.

440.          (LNWR) c/i  Welsh language “Rybudd” trespass notice. Rectangular. Repainted.

441.          GWR  Circular no 2742  Instructions for the collection and redistribution of Empty Luncheon and Tea Baskets, Cups, Saucers etc. March 1930  15  pp. Quite interesting. Lists many stations e.g. Westbury, Plymouth, Fishguard, the location on the station where they should be returned and how they should be collected together with times of services for returning empty hampers.

442.          BR(E) Signalbox  Diagram  Welwyn North  28 May 1963. On thick cartridge paper. Fully coloured. Rolled g.c.

443.          NBR  Brass/steel  Tablet  Reedsmouth Junc – Woodburn from the picturesque Wansbeck Valley branch in North Northumberland which closed to passengers Sept 1952 and freight in 1963.  g.c.

444.          (GER) Plan Silvertown. Shows the station area and also the track belonging to “Silvertown Tram”. On the line from Custom House to North Woolwich. Uncoloured. Folds out to 20” x 10”.

445.          GWR Bound Public Time-tables  1. 22 Sept 1930.  2. 20 July – 13 Sept 1931.  3. 14 Sept 1931. With covers and maps and the binding has kept the T/T’s in good cond.

446.          GCR  Plan  Lincoln East of Pelham St. Shows loco shed, sidings crossover on the Joint line and notes in red ink concerning ownership of sidings with distances measured from Junc. with MR Co, Lincoln High St.  Stamped “GCR Engineers Office, Grimsby Dock 10.1.23. Rolled.  31” x  9½”.

447.          Shedplate  16E  Kirkby in Ashfield Sept 1963 – 1967. Repainted a long time ago.

448.          BR(E) Diagram of  Signals. Grantham North with 2 additional sheets of locking tables for the 105 lever box. Shows all track between Barrowby Road and Grantham South.

449.          BR(S) Signalbox Diagram  “Bexhill Central no 1009”. An office copy dated 17 Dec 1979. Folds out to 41” x 18”.

461.          Southern Railway wagon plate “SR 965” oval 10” x 6” with Eastleigh triangle. Repainted.

462.          Midland and South Western Junction W.T.T. July – Sept 1901. Single sheet thin card, folded. Worn along folds, but no loss.

472.          Publicity  “Southern Railway. A Souvenir of Southampton Docks. Very nicely produced with photos and colour pictures on front and back covers.

473.          (LBSCR) silverplated milk jug “Newhaven – Dieppe Service in garter with LBSC marine flag in centre. By Mappin & Webb. One or two small dents otherwise good. 3¾” high.

474.          GWR Hotels small oval silver plated dish by Walker & Hall. 9” x 6”.

475.          Brass Loco Worksplate. The English Electric Company Ltd London  no 2308, 1957. Works: Stafford, Preston, Rugby, Bradford, Liverpool. Rectangular 10” x 4¼”. An uncommon pattern. From one of the electric locos that worked the line from Westoe Colliery to Harton Staithes in South Shields. Several dents from heavy service on the incline but an interesting plate.

477.          BR(S) Signal box Diagram “Brick layer’s Arms Junction 1035” An S&T office copy dated 8.6.1975. Folds out to 83”.

478.          LMS Vertical Track Plan Blisworth – Banbury with enlargements of Blisworth, Towcester and Banbury LMS dated April 1946 – the route of old Northampton and Banbury Jn. g.c.

479.          Wagonplate  “Repairs advise The Staveley Coal and Iron Co Ltd Chesterfield” c/i  oval    9” x 6”. Rusty but lettering is readable. Very old.

480.          BR(E) Diagram of signals and table of locking  “Darnall East”. Shows track between Darnall West and Handsworth Colliery boxes. Undated c.1960. Folds out to 56”.

481.          GWR Examination Sheets for footbridges between Totnes and Saltash. Gives condition when examined between 1925 – 31; with signature of bridge inspector (3 sheets).

484.          Carriage Print  Schiehallion near Kinloch Rannoch, Perthshire by W. Douglas Macleod. A fine view of mountain, moor and loch. LMS size.       In original type glazed frame and in excellent condition.

485.          Carriage Print  Brig o’ Balgownie near Aberdeen by Edward Lawson, Wooded river banks with impressive bridge in background. LMS size.       In original type glazed frame and in excellent condition.

486.          Carriage Print  Lowestoft, Suffolk by E.T. Holding. A busy view of the fishing port with many steam trawlers. LNER series. In original type glaze frame and in excellent condition.

487.          Carriage Print  Cromer, Norfolk by F.W. Baldwin. Nice, detailed view of the town beach with boats drawn up with church in background. LNER series. In original type glazed frame and in excellent condition.

488.          Shedplate  84E  Tyseley 1948 to Sept 1963, Wadebridge Sept 1963 to Oct 1964. Repainted a long time ago.

489.          LNWR S&T Track diagram. Long Buckby Station. On cartridge paper with stamp “Signal Superintendant’s office L&NWR Crewe Aug 21, 1898”

490.          W.T.T. BR(S) Western Div Section E. May 31st 1948 u.f.n. 125 pp. Covers all the ex LSWR branches west of Exeter including Turnchapel, etc.

491.          Loco worksplate   “Built 1953 Swindon”. Oval cast-iron. 10½” x 6”. Repainted a long time ago.

492.          Worksplate GEC Alsthom – Metro Cammell, Birmingham, 1992. Class 377. Alloy 8½” x 5”. Restored front and back.

493.          Great Western Railway. Instructions re. ringing of gong which is connected to Westbury District  Cash Office and Fixed in Westbury Telegraph Office, 1916. Several memos confirm the bell was transferred to the Control Office and also North Box. A bundle of papers about 25, the most recent dated 31 Aug 1938.

494.          Luggage Labels. North London Railway. Selection of 25 all different.

495.          Luggage Labels. North London Railway. Further selection all different and no duplication with previous lot.

496.          Luggage Labels selection of 17 comprising 2 Cornwall Rly, 1 Barry Rly,    2 Taff Vale, 9 GNSR, 3 GNR (I).

497.          Industrial Loco Registration Numberplate. British Transport Commission, 3547 of 1970 as carried by B.S.C. Bo-Bo diesel electric loco built by Hunslet, works number 7282 of 1972 and delivered to Appleby Frodingham Works. Oval 12” x 6” ex loco in yellow paint.

498.          Plan “LNER Stapleford Station” Fully coloured plan, linen backed. Very detailed, showing all track and surroundings, even lamp posts on platform. Rolled. g.c. 80”.
