216.          M.R. Wagon Registration plate “Registered by the Midland Ry Co to carry 15 tons 60035/1909. 6½”. Lugs intact. Face repainted.

217.          GWR Plymouth Division. Notice of Extra trains and Special Arrangements. Oct 14 – 20 1905.  12 pp.  Includes LSWR Specials, Railmotors etc.

218.          BR(M) Track Diagram Wembley to Euston. Oct 1954. Amended June 1955. Very detailed. Shows all track and installations including Camden/Willesden  MPD’s.

219.          Brass Locomotive Worksplate “LMS Built 1939 Derby” 1939 is incised. Front cleaned and polished. Back totally original.

220.          (GER) Plan “Duxford” with pencil and ink annotations showing deed boundaries. On thin paper. 17½” x 7”.

221.          (NER) Cast-iron bridgeplate “I” oval. Repainted. Good cond.

222.          “Isle of Wight Central Railway” letter from the Company Secretary concerning rates of pay of staff. Dated 21.7.20.

228.          Loco Registration Plate “Registered by the Railway Executive No 25  1952 ex Borrows 0-4-0 Well Tank no 47/1905 “Wheathill”. Worked at Pilkingtons. St Helens. Oval c/i  12”x 6” Face repainted.

229.          Southern Railway Isle of Wight. Appendix to Rule book & WTT.       2nd Feb 1930. 94 pp. Lots of information on working low lines together with BR(S) low Supplement dated 22 Mar 1952, giving additional information on engine whistles etc. Blue cloth covers, with black lettering. g.c.

230.         Carriage Print  Lake Windermere by David Cobb. A fine tranquil view with boats tied up along jetty with sunlit mountains in background. LMS size. In original type glazed frame. Excellent condition.

231.         Carriage Print  Castle of Broughty by Edward Lawson. View of the harbour with the castle dominating the background. LMS size. In original type glazed frame. Excellent condition.

232.         Carriage Print Ribblehead Viaduct by Kenneth Steel. Fine view of the windswept viaduct with steam train going over it and Blea Moor in the distance. LMS size. In original type glazed frame. Excellent condition.

233.         Carriage Print Loch Long, Dunbartonshire by Alexander Macpherson.     A wintry  scene with snow on the mountaintops contrasting with the dark Scots pines. LNER Series. Original type glazed frame. Excellent cond.

244.          BR(W) alloy Key Token “Halls Road – Penar Junction” Excellent original condition. From the ex GWR line on east side of Sirhowy Valley which served Oakdale colliery.

245.          Highland Railway  Rates for the Conveyance of Goods and Mineral Traffic between Culloden Moor and stations on the NER from 1 July 1884. Lists the groups of stations such as Kirkby Stephen and Corbridge also listing exceptions such as whisky casks, etc. H.R. paper label on cover.

246.          Negatives: 7 x 35 mm around Crewe Works and station. Engines include 70026, 48641,  42152, 42210, 48462.

247.          Negatives: 5 good negs of N15 0-6-2  69163 on branch lines around Edinburgh. Measure 2½” square.

248.          Negatives: 4 x 35 mm. 3 shots of 51206 at Bank Hall . 1 shot of 52389.

249.          Negatives: 11 regs of Welshpool and Llanfair in BR days in early 1950’s. Include train leaving on freight, boundary marker, loco in shed yard with wagons.

250.          Negatives:  6 views of ex GWR locos on trains in landscape, thought to be around Taunton area. Include King on Cornish Riviera, Castle, Halls and  53xx  waiting at signal 1950’s.

251.          Great Eastern Railway cast-iron Trespass notice. Attractively face restored, white on blue. 20½” x 13”.

252.          Moffat Railway Act 1882, so titled in gold tooling on maroon buckram  covers.  11 pp. The railway was absorbed by the Caledonian.

253.          “Midland Railway Co Derby” brass equipment plate. Rectangular, measures 4” x 2” giving details of voltage etc. From electric motor at Derby works.

254.          Plan  G.E.R. Temple Mills. Partially coloured  plan showing proposed new passenger lines. g.c. Folds out to 18” x 29”.

255.          GWR Rectangular brass lever lead  “I” Gates Bolted/Unbolted. Engraved with wax infill. g.c. 5” x 4”.

256.          Midland Rly NCC c/i wagonplate. “MR NCC  338” Rectangular with rounded corners. Face repainted a long time ago.

257.          BR(NE) Poster “York, the Shambles” by A. Carr Linford. An attractive colourful picture of shoppers in the medieval street, a butcher surveying the scene from his doorway. Rolled. 40” x 25”. One of the last of the old style posters with a border round the image.

258.          BR(W) Poster South Devon – London to the Sunshine of South Devon in 3 hours by Torbay Express. Stylised view of a “Western” at speed by the coast and sands. One or two repaired minor edge tears, otherwise good. Rolled. 40” x 25”.

259.          BR(W) Poster Holiday Runabout Tickets – Cornish Riviera. Also includes Turnchapel, Callington, Bude, Padstow.  Red and blue lettering with large BR “totem” at top. Rolled. 40” x 25”. 1950.

Lists all engine numbers (677 in total) including where they were built, tank capacity, class etc. O.V. Bulleid’s name at bottom. Interesting. Folded.
