Fletcher  Company Secretary advising that it had relinquished offices at Great Winchester St London and mentions that bill for financial powers to construct line from Towcester to Olney  has passed House of Lords. 7 Oct. 1886.

176.          NBR  Brass/steel single-line tablet “Scotsgap – Rothbury”. From one of the few ex NBR branches in England closed to passengers in 1951 and to freight in 1963. Good condition with black wax infill.

177.          BR(E) Signalbox Diagram “Woolmer Green” dated 6.12.50. An ECML box between Welwyn North and Knebworth. In good ex signal box condition. 46” x 15”.

178.          GWR Special Examination of Bridges, Viaducts and Roofs for Kingsbridge Branch. Examined between 1925-31 giving details of bridges and reports on condition of them signed by bridge inspector. (4 sheets).

181.          SR Signalbox Diagram “ Southern Railway Horsham no 1202”. An office copy dated 8 June 1943. Folds out to 73” x 18”. Some fold wear but no loss.

182.          Map Plan of the Estate of the Dock Company at Kingston-upon-Hull 1885. On linen. Coloured. Very detailed. Also gives tables with dimensions of steam cranes, warehouse capacity and which foreign ports ships go into which dock. Interesting. Folds out to 42” x 20”. Marbled covers.

183.          Loco Registration plate  “Registered by the British Transport Commission 2642, 1958” ex Ruston-Hornsby 0-6-0 Diesel which worked at NCB Worksop Main Colliery.

184.          Card Hanging Notice LMSR (in full) Instruction to signalmen at station box, Parsley Hay. It mentions that Electric Train Staff Regulations apply between this box and Hartington. The Cromford and High Peak Line is worked with Train Staff and Tickets. Interesting. Dated Derby May 1930. Parsley Hay was junction for C&HPR and Ashbourne line. Ex box cond.

185.          LMS brass tender plate “Water Capacity 4000 gallons”. A very nice example. Front repainted and polished, back totally ex loco.

186.          BR(E) Diagram of signals Sheffield North Junction. Shows north end of platforms and track up to Nunnery Main Junction. Folds out to 67” x 13”.  1950’s.

194.          Negatives: 5 x 35 mm include 4 of Kings Cross. Nice shot of 60049 Galtee  More 60015, and alongside D5530 and 70012 John of Gaunt waiting to depart from Liverpool Street. 1961. Good.

195.          Negatives:  6 x 35 mm include 30835 at Reading shed, 31630 on freight, 33001 outside shed, 76060 – Redhill ?, 2 shots from different angles of 30027. Good.

196.          BR(S) Enamel Doorplate “Gentlemen” green/white. Excellent colour/shine. One or two edge chips painted in, otherwise excellent.
