This flanged sign has excellent colour & shine with two minor well matched face repairs. A very displayable size at 24” x 12”.

2 BR(M) Totem (FF) WHITCHURCH 
Black edged fully flanged maroon totem with minor edge chips only. In ex station condition as taken down by the vendor in the late 1960’s. Good colour & shine. Not a common totem from the Shropshire station South West of Crewe.

4 Brass Wagon & Carriage Builders Plate 1938
Oval brass builders plate by the “Gloucester Railway Carriage & Wagon Company Ltd” in full title & “Builders 1938 Gloucester”. The 8 of the date has been changed from a 6 with weld so presumably there were some left over from earlier. Engraved on the rear G634. In totally as removed condition.

6 1906/7 Railways map of South Wales showing the coal fields
Cloth backed ordnance survey map of South Wales from 1906/7 showing existing & proposed railways & the different bands of coal types. The map was prepared by J Roberts a mining engineer in Swansea & folds out to 40” x 29” - in good condition for its age.

A heavy cast alloy plaque made from metal reclaimed from Class 52 Western diesel hydraulic locos scrapped at Swindon. Comes with its certificate of authenticity – being 357 of an edition of 3000.

The print in the longer format is in good used condition with drawing pin holes in each corner that would be covered by a frame. Designed by Hasler in 1960 in a modern artistic style.
