BR(NE) totem shaped Posterboard Heading “BRITISH RAILWAYS”.A small repair by the top screwhole otherwise in excellent condition with very good colour & shine – 20 ½” x 6”.

2 BR(Sc) Totem (FF) MAWCARSE
BR(Sc) Fully Flanged totem “MAWCARSE” from the ex NBR station on the Cowdenbeath to Perth line.. The totem has a repair around the top of the “R” & on the edge at the top & bottom mounting holes but these have been well repaired. Good colour but some loss of shine.

Frieze panel BARBICAN from the London Underground with edge strips in the colours of the Circle & Metropolitan Line. Good condition with minor edge rusting only – 45” x 9”.

NER 3-aspect Handlamp stamped NER on the side & also with a brass plate “NER”. It comes complete with its original “NER Co” marked vessel & burner. The blue glass has a small piece missing otherwise in excellent restored condition.

12 Underground Direction Glass Plates
A set of glass plates that were used in an experiment to take people to Major stations on the Underground. The signs were lit up & the idea was to follow the coloured light until you reached the correct platform. They consist of two sheets of glass held together with tape (which will need replacing) The signs are “KINGS CROSS” in purple, VICTORIA” with arrow in Green, “EUSTON “ in brown with arrow – all 6” x 4”, & “FOLLOW THE LIGHTS” in black at 12 ½” x 3 ½”. Unusual items.

BR (W) Fully flanged totem “HOCKLEY” from the closed Birmingham station, first stop from Snow Hill on the line to West Bromwich. Two small well matched chip repairs at the centre top & some damage to four of the mounting holes. Otherwise very good colour & shine.
