Loco Worksplate
Chromed brass worksplate from Class 40 loco “40077”. The
worksplate, which has all the bolt holes complete, has been
stripped of paint to the chrome finish. Some of the letters have
been rubbed down to brass and there is one slight knock to the
edge at the top. The back has been cleaned but still retains
some crust accumulated in use.

ARROCHAR & TARBET
BR(Sc) Half Flanged totem “ARROCHAR & TARBET” from the ex NBR
station on the West Bank of Loch Lomond. A rare totem last in
auction in 1997. The totem is faded & has a well-matched crease
repair but all totems from this part of the country tend to be
well weathered & it certainly is a wonderful name.

Cast Iron replacement nameplate “R.F.DUNNELL” used to replace
the name of the Secretary on an NER Cast Iron sign. As with most
NER cast iron this is a substantial item being 17” x 2½” –

Southern Railway Target “LONDON ROAD” almost certainly from the
Sussex station just outside Brighton on the Lewes line. It could
possibly be from London Road Guildford but there is no evidence
to confirm this. In original unrestored condition with some rust
staining on the letters & some edge chipping. There is also a
mark on the letter D.
