VSOE Christmas Luncheon Special Saturday 15th December 2007 A4 60009 Union of South Africa stands in for Clan Line on the second of this weeks dining runs working across from Guildford to Redhill on a bleak Decembers afternoon. A rather grubby A4 arriving at:-

Almost dark on the approach to Chilworth with vast clouds of steam from the chimney and pressure valve:-
A bit too dark for automatic but with safety valve still wide open at least it looks as if it's moving!
Next week it should be Tangmere on Tuesday and Bittern on Thursday across this line. |
