377 BR(M) Flanged enamel STATION SIGN “BEWARE OF TRAINS”. Unrestored with some chipping – 18” x 12”. £75
378 Glass DISPLAY JAR “SMITHS CRISPS” as would have been on the counter of a grocery shop in the 1920’s. Complete with its ornate convex lid with glass knob and in excellent undamaged condition. The jar has a diameter of 7” and stands 10” tall overall. TBC £80
379 BR(W) SIGNALBOX DIAGRAM “BURLESCOMBE STATION” located on the Taunton to Exeter main line near Tiverton. This is a paper Signal Engineers Office copy and has been copied from an earlier 1927 diagram, probably in the 1960’s. It is in good condition with folds and minor edge tearing – 52” x 17”. n/s
380 BR(S) Fully Flanged TOTEM “LEWISHAM” from the London suburban station on the line to Blackheath. Good colour and shine with slight damage at the right hand end just onto the green. This has been repaired with a poor colour match. £330
381 LT Routemaster Bus enamel triangular BONNET BADGE “LONDON TRANSPORT”. Some chipping to the enamel but retains good colour & shine. A genuine used example. £20
382 SR TARGET “SWANLEY” from the ex SECR Kent Junction station. In ex station condition with quite good colour and shine but chipping around the edges and screw holes and slight staining of some of the white. £290
383 Somerset & Dorset Joint agreement for the Evercreech Lime and Stone Co to put down sidings at Evercreech New station. This is a company file copy dated April 1907 and includes letters and a detailed coloured plan. Comes in its original Midland Railway Co cover. £30
384 LT Underground enamel DESTINATION PLATE with brass ends “NEW CROSS / NEW X GATE” these being the two terminus stations at the end of the short Metropolitan branch from Shoreditch. Some chipping – 24” x 4”. £20

401 BR(S) enamel flangeless FASCIA SIGN “FORD STATION” with “SOUTHERN” in Totem at either end. The sign is from the ex LBSCR Sussex station between Arundel and Chichester. Good condition with good colour and shine and just a few screw hole chips – 105” x 12” BTC £240
402 BR(W) Fully Flanged TOTEM “BLOWERS GREEN” from the Worcestershire station to the West of Birmingham. Very good colour & shine with minor restored edge chips. A rare totem only twice in auction previously. n/s

410 Rectangular Chromed brass WORKSPLATE “The English Electric Company Ltd Vulcan Works .Newton-Le-Willows England. No.3591/E361 1965”, from BR BoBo Class 73 electro-diesel E6029. Emerged to traffic 24th April 1966, later renumbered 73122 and named County of East Sussex on 16th July 1985. The loco finally ended up as 73207 – undamaged in totally ex loco condition -10¼” x 4½”. £1400

422 BR(Sc) Fully Flanged TOTEM “ANNAN” from the Dunfrieshire station North West of Carlisle. Good colour and shine with four small face chips. £950
423 GER eight-foot STATION BENCH with two Cast Iron supports, with GER in the design, and four rails which are painted green. The top rail has at one time sported an LNER seatback 49½” long. Disassembled for ease of transport and comes with fixing bolts. BTC £440
424 BR(W) LOCOMOTIVE DEPOT PLAN “EBBW JUNCTION(NEWPORT DIVISION)”. A detailed 1949 hand-coloured diagram that shows details of the shed and comes with a typed description sheet that details such information that the depot had 148 locos and 826 staff including 256 drivers and 243 firemen. The plan measures 25” x 8”. £270
425 Alloy NAMEPLATE “SIR JOHN BETJEMAN” from Class 86 No 86229. The loco was named after the much loved Poet Laureate at St Pancras Station July 1983. (It should have been named earlier at Euston but Sir John refused to have anything to do with the new Euston). After naming 86229 worked the first electric service out of St Pancras. The nameplates were removed in June 1998. The plate is in totally ex-loco condition with black background although there is plenty of evidence of the earlier red background showing through One of the better names and a manageable 65” x 10”. 427 SR Cast Iron SIGNAL LEVER LEADS “20 Ludgate Crossover points”, “14 From Down Ludgate Shunt”, “31 FPL on 32”. (Ludgate is South of Holborn Viaduct) – all are embossed S.R. on the rear. Also a brass GWR lead “10 Up Goods to Spur Startg”. (4) £35

429 BR / Caledonian Steam Packet Co Booklet “LOCH LOMOND STEAMER SERVICES May to September 1959”. Folds out to 18” x 13” with timetables, a map of the area and details of day trips on the Loch. Excellent condition with Thos Cook stamped on the front. £14

432 LNWR Fletchers double line BLOCK INSTRUMENT combined with the block bell, which is mounted underneath. The face indicates ”Train On Line/Line Closed/Line Clear” for up and down lines. An impressive instrument that stands 25” tall. BTC £110
433 BR(S) Double Royal POSTER “SOUTHERN ENGLAND GO BY TRAIN” printed by the Maycock press in 1960 and featuring the view by Langhammer used in the carriage print “The Hampshire Coast”. Excellent rolled condition – unusual as a poster. £360

441 GWR Cast Iron CABSIDE “2265” from a Class 2251 0-6-0 tender loco that was allocated new to Exeter in May 1930. The BR history is brief as it spent the whole period at Bristol St. Philip’s Marsh until it was withdrawn in June 1960 and was then cut up at Swindon Works by November of the same year. Restored. BTC £810
442 BR(Sc) Fully Flanged TOTEM “DINNET” from the Aberdeenshire station on the line to Ballater that closed in 1966. Good colour and shine with a couple of well-matched chip repairs in the centre panel. £860
