301 BR(M) Fully Flanged  TOTEM “SHAP”  from the Westmoreland station closed in 1968 and probably the most famous station on the West Coast main line. Good colour and shine with three small repaired face chips – a rare and desirable totem. £4750
302 BR(W) SIGNALBOX DIAGRAM “LIMPLEY STOKE” a station between Bathampton and Bradford Junction on the ex GWR line. This is a paper Signal Engineers Office copy dated 12/7/1962 and is in quite good condition with folds and a few edge tears.The name and date are written in marker pen on the back (which shows through to the front) – 60” x 19”. £70
303 Shipping oval brass WORKSPLATE “NAMURA SHIPYARD COMPANY LTD OSAKA JAPAN” from Ship Number 390 built in June 1970 at the Namara Shipyard in Japan. It was a bulk carrier owned by Watermaster Marine Ltd named TOYOTA MARU NO 8, and was scrapped in the 1990’s. Face polished – 20½” x 12”. Impressive! TBC £110
304 BR(W) LOCOMOTIVE DEPOT PLAN “CARDIFF CANTON”. A detailed 1949 hand-coloured diagram that shows the layout of the huge depot and comes with a typed description sheet that details such information that the depot had 110 locos 824 staff including 307 drivers and 279 firemen. The plan measures 34” x 8”. £190
305  SR enamel Quad Royal POSTERBOARD HEADING “SR CHEAP TICKETS”. In poor condition but a rare sign and worthy of restoration – 64” x 6”. TBC £65
306 CARRIAGE PRINT “BOURTON ON THE WATER GLOUCESTERSHIRE” by Claude Buckle. A view of the river and houses in this pleasant sleepy village. Presented In an original glazed frame with its kite marked safety glass, and In excellent condition – 21” x 11”. £130
307 Steel single line KEY TOKEN with engraved plate “MONTGOMERY / ABERMULE” from a section of the ex Cambrian line between Welshpool and Newtown. £160
308 ALCO rectangular brass WORKSPLATE “AMERICAN LOCOMOTIVE COMPANY 74839 Schenectady Works August 1946” from an SNCF 2-8-2 loco 141-R-987. This was a post war reconstruction design from the USA for mixed traffic, of which many lasted until the end of steam in 1972. Face restored only – 14” x 7½”. £230
309 BR(W) Fully Flanged TOTEM “NEWBURY” from the Berks station to the West of Reading. Excellent condition with good colour and shine and minor edge chipping only. £580
310 SR enamel ARMBAND “SOUTHERN RAILWAY 212 (DOCKS)”. Lacks its straps and is a rather poor firing but this is a rare Docks example – green on white background. £45
311 Brass single line KEY TOKEN “RANNOCH / BRIDGE OF ORCHY 11”, a mountainous section of the ex NBR West Highland line to Mallaig. £300
312 BR(E) fold out booklet for DONCASTER CARRIAGE WORKS produced in the early 1950’s to be given to visitors. The booklet describes the route to be followed around the works. Folds out to 16” x 8” – good condition with some discoloration to front. £5
313 GNR fully titled Cast Iron sign “BEWARE OF TRAINS Look both up & down the line before you cross”. The face is attractively restored in white on green, with the back untouched and the original fixing bolts still in place – 22” x 12”.  TBC n/s
314 BR(E) Half Flanged TOTEM “EMERSON PARK HALT” from the Essex station to the East of Romford. Good colour & shine with one small chip repair on the face. A sought after totem that has never appeared in auction previously. £4550

321 Alloy diamond WORKSPLATE “ North British Locomotive Co Ltd – The General Electric Co Ltd No 27684 – 1959” ex BR Class 21/29 D6103. Originally it started life in store as the class was having acceptance problems but then entered traffic at Eastfield. A Glasgow area loco all its short life, it was eventually dismantled at St. Rollox Works in 1972. Front only repainted in original style - 14” x 6”. £220
322 CRUCHLEYS Railway map of the County of SHROPSHIRE. Dated January 1st 1855.  It folds out to 22” x 20” & shows all the Railways & Stations in the County. Good condition overall with slight browning on the folds. £45

324 BR(W) 1957 Double Royal POSTER  advertising the “West of England Car Tourist Service* with a picture of a steam train passing a traffic jam. Good rolled condition. £40
325 Alloy NAMEPLATE “FURY” from Loco E3131/86222 built in 1965 at Doncaster works and which entered traffic in January 1966. The loco was named at Willesden in July 1979 reviving a name first used on a much earlier steam loco. The nameplates, which were cast at Swindon Works, were removed in June 1987 and 86222 was cut up at Immingham in Dec 2003. The plate is in totally ex loco condition and is a very displayable 26” x 10”. £4200

329 Alloy ROAD SIGN “LEVEL CROSSING” complete with all its original reflective glass beads that are set into the gate motif. Ex road condition – slightly twisted – 12” x 21”. £140
330 BR TRANSFER Lion over Wheel mounted onto green painted plywood with hanging wire. This is the first version of this iconic design and is very eye catching with just a couple of very small nicks – 20” x 22”. £55

336 Rectangular chromed brass WORKSPLATE “THE English Electric Co Ltd Vulcan Works Newton-Le-Willows No 3572/E342 1965”. Ex Class 73 loco E6010/73104, which entered traffic at Stewarts Lane in Nov 1965 and was withdrawn in July 2001. It was then sold to Fragonset Railways but remained stored at Eastleigh for a long period before finally being taken to the Mid-Hants Railway in December 2003 for restoration. £800

341 LNER FLYING SCOTSMAN BOOKLET produced for the British Empire Exhibition at Wembley in 1924. The booklet gives details of every technical aspect of this locomotive with fold out diagrams based on the original drawings. Loose on the staples but a wealth of information and complete. £170
342 Alloy single line KEY TOKEN “CAIRNRYAN JCT / CASTLE KENNEDY 8” from a Scottish section to the East of Stranraer on the line to Dumfries and Glasgow. £50
343 Large STATION ELECTRIC CLOCK with dial marked “SMITHS SECTRIC”, from Dover Marine station. Very impressive with 18” dial and 24” diameter overall. TBC £30
344 Brass CAB PLATE “D6592” from a loco built by the Birmingham Carriage & Wagon Co. Works number DEL163 which entered traffic at Hither Green in March 1962. This loco later became the famous 33207, named Earl Mountbatten of Burma in September 1989. On withdrawal in February 1997 it went to the Railway Age at Crewe and later was sold to Direct Railway Services and finally to the West Coast Railway Co. who had it back in traffic based at Carnforth in May 2001. Ex loco condition – 4” x 1¼”. £90
345 NER 1902 COLOURED MAP on linen in cloth bound covers showing the lines of the NER and connections with the lines of the pre grouping companies shown in different colours. Front cover loose but the map is in good condition - folds out to 34” x 45”. £55

349 SR PASSENGER TIMETABLE October 1946 to May 1947 - in good condition with 505 pages - covers the entire system including Isle of Wight. £30
350 NAMEPLATE “KELHAM HALL” from a GWR Hall Class 4-6-0 number 5904. New to Chester in May 1931 it then spent many years at Oxford before going West to Bristol Bath Road, Bristol St. Philip’s Marsh and Westbury. Withdrawn in November 1963 from St. Philip’s Marsh it was cut up at Hayes Bridgend the following summer. The plate may have been restored some time ago. Kelham Hall is in Nottinghamshire and is now a school. TBC £6750

375 SR TARGET “BARNSTAPLE JUNCTION” from the North Devon ex LSWR Junction station that is now the end of the branch from Exeter. The target has good colour and shine with one quite large well matched repair above the name & slight discoloration of the white. £1550
