SR brass NAMEPLATE “CREWKERNE” with its BADGE depicting the town's full coat-of-arms and its West Country Class scroll, from the SR Bulleid light pacific No 21C140 built at Brighton in September 1946, becoming BR 34040 and rebuilt without its streamlined casing in October 1960. Allocated new to Stewarts Lane and later Brighton, Bath Green Park and Eastleigh, spending its final eleven years at Bournemouth from where it was withdrawn in July 1967 and cut up by Cashmores at Newport, entering their yard in October 1967. A superb full set with one of the most attractive badges in the Class.   BTC       Estimate £25000-35000
