SR Nameplate and Scroll ex 34094
Mortehoe

(SR) Brass NAMEPLATE “MORTEHOE” and matching Scroll from a West
Country Class 4-6-2 Pacific 34094. The loco was built at Brighton
Works in 1949 and entered traffic at Bournemouth in December of that
year. Later allocated to Nine Elms the loco was withdrawn from there
in August 1964, travelling to Woodhams at Barry and was scrapped by
the end of the year. The front only of both plates has been
attractively restored. The Set is available for £12,000 or the
Nameplate only can be purchased for £10,000. All or part of the
price can be made up with items of railwayana.

ex 4074 Caldicot Castle

The Loco was built
at Swindon works, as second of the "4073" Class, in December 1923.
In 1948 it was based at Landore and was used in the loco exchanges
of 1950 running on the Waterloo to Portsmouth services. Its final
shed was Old Oak Common from where it was withdrawn in May 1963 and
then cut up in October 1963. Excellent set and the earliest
available from this class as 4073 Caerphilly Castle is preserved.
The set, which is offered by its original owner, is available at
£22,500 or part payment with other Railwayana taken for the balance.
