Face only attractively restored with the ex loco back showing a clear Eastleigh triangle.

GWR NAMEPLATE “WIMPOLE HALL” & CABSIDE “5963”
From a “Hall” Class 4-6-0 built at Swindon Works in July 1936. Allocated new to Landore, by 1948 it had moved further West to Carmarthen. Later sheds were Westbury and finally Bristol St. Philips Marsh. Withdrawn in June 1964 it was cut up by Birds, Risca by the end of the year. Both nameplate and cabside are in superb ex loco condition – untouched since they came off the loco. A fine set. Wimpole Hall is a famous National Trust property in Cambridgeshire. BTC

GNR mahogany cased 12’’ dial fusee CLOCK
manufactured in about 1880. The neatly painted twelve-hour dial is marked “LNER 4198”. The clock, which is in good working order, was originally located at Parkeston Quay (Near Harwich) telegraph office and later at Parkeston Quay GER hotel. A very attractive clock that would grace any collection.

LMS Brass LOCOMOTIVE NAMEPLATE “CAMPERDOWN”
from LMS 6P “Jubilee” Class 4-6-0 “45680” built at Crewe in 1935. For many years a Longsight engine it had short spells at Edge Hill, Carlisle Upperby and Kingmoor from where it was withdrawn in April 1963. It was cut up at Crewe Works in June 1963. The 35’’ long plate, which has been face restored only, has the Clapham Collection number “1933/28/63” on the back as the plate originally went there from the railway. A brass WORKSPLATE “LMS BUILT 1935 CREWE” accompanies the plate  being oval – 10½’’ x 6’’.

GWR NAMEPLATE “BUCKENHILL GRANGE”
from a GWR “Grange” Class 4-6-0 locomotive that was allocated new to Newport Ebbw Jct in August 1937. By 1948 it was at Bristol St. Philips Marsh followed by Penzance and Oxley. Withdrawn in October 1965 it was cut up at Cohens Kettering in March 1966. Buckenhill Grange is at Bromyard in Herefordshire. The plate has been restored and polished.

A6 BR(Sc) Fully Flanged TOTEM “CAMERON BRIDGE”
 from the Fife station on the East coast of Scotland that closed in 1969. Undamaged, with good colour but some loss of shine with consequent mottling.
